Enjoy a family-friendly and free concert of student and community performance of Indonesian, Japanese, Brazilian, Indian, and West African musics. Kid friendly; audience will be invited to hit the instruments after the performance. GRK will be joined by our visiting Artistic Director Peni Candra Rini.
Join GRK for an afternoon of vibrating bronze. The session will start with a “soundbath” of long-form minimalism followed by a short performance of traditional repertoire. Audience members are invited to fall asleep during the soundbath and to try the instruments themselves afterward.
